If you decide to sell your home this year, I have included some helpful tips to navigate the journey.
- Decide "Why are you selling your home?"
- Keep those reasons to yourself, don't share them with the buyers under any means.
- Do your research. Understand who your competition is and at what price points.
- Decide on a realtor/agent.
- Ask your agent to run the comparable sales in your area.
- Prepare your home to market it in its best light. Good staging is hard to beat.
- Remember to "disclose" everything!!
This seems simple enough but there is more to it than that. But that conversation is better for another time and day.
